The key to success for all submissions is to introduce a strategy which ensures that you closely align with your clients objectives. This is true when completing and responding to pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ), bid documents, proposal documents, tenders, framework tenders, invitation to tender (ITT), request for information (RFI), request for proposal (RFP), request for quotation (RFQ), initial expression of interest (IEO), preliminary invitation to tender (PITT) and mini competition questionnaires.

The reason for this is that clients are looking to work with organisations that share their values and vision of what constitutes a successful outcome to the procurement process. Unless strategy is considered from the start, it is virtually impossible to introduce as a last minute after thought as it sets the direction for all of the written and pricing work.
